The displayed pictures really say it all, and alan@webs4u.co.nz has converted four of the Commodore promotional video tapes that were available in New Zealand when Commodore NZ were in their prime and preserved them on CD and DVD.
The quality is not what we would expect from more modern equipment, having come from at least second generation video tapes but the content is reasonably good and worth preserving for posterity.
The CD images are mpeg movies with a screen resolution of about 345 x 275 while the DVD version views reasonably well on my 24" TV and is quite presentable on a computer screen at 800 x 600. Remember that images taken by video camera from a computer screen are not as good as on the RGB computer screen.

Both CD and DVD versions are auto-run and have menus to select each of the four movies separately.
