Making 'fancy' e-mail pages.

With the advent of Microsoft's Explorer 5 and later, it is possible to not only insert pictures in your e-mail but you can have either a coloured background OR a background pattern AND have music play as well.

As they say, new things just keep on coming, don't they?

How does it all work then?

Let's assume you have a NEW e-mail form on the screen in front of you, and you have addressed it and put in your subject.

Carry out the following sequence.
NOTE: This does not apply to versions before Outlook Express 5.

Go through the same procedure for adding sound, remembering to select either .mid (midi files), or .wav (wave files) in the "Files of type" area.

Note that you have the following sound options; Play once, Play continuously, or specify how many times to repeat.
