A Londoner, born 9th December 1938, came to New Zealand in 1972 and married a 'Kiwi' lady in London. Art has been John's 'thing' since his school days and examples of his works appear in many places. The most well known is probably his 'Bus Stop Art' which adorns the majority of bus shelters in and around Dunedin.
John has been involved as...... Designer, Illustrator, Cartoonist, worked in Advertising Display, Exhibition Designer, Interior Designer, Television New Zealand Set Designer, Otago Museum Display Design Team, Dunedin Botanical Gardens Illustrator, and a mural painter who enjoys everything to do with art.
Sadly, John passed away on 5th January 2006. Our condolences to his family.
